To date, Cold Blow catalog spans 20 releases of essential house and techno reissues, braindance, italo disco, cold wave, electro-pop, and rave. “Cold Blow: 5Y And Still Blowing” includes contributions from our roster, faithfully showcasing the label’s sound that sails with the winds of 90s-tinged electronic music in its sails.

An anniversary bash will be organised in the eminent Club Kaiku in Helsinki on the 4th of November. The label founders Pete & Jam “J” will be joined on decks by Mono Junk, Halvtrak, Maria Wesander, Marc Fred, together with a live performance by Forehard.

Top quality IDM throughout. Damaged Cells, Glotc4, and Ronck67 are my favourites. I would love to know why the artists gave these tracks away - did they had imposter syndrome and think they weren't good enough for a 'proper' release? Are these old tracks and examples of 'juvenilia'? Are they experiments that the artist did for fun? So many theories but thanks anyway and a great cause to support. livewires22
